A school bus has just pulled up to the park and unloaded all the kids. They were setting up for a cross country meet. The colorful flags they set up, added beautiful texture to the landscape. The turquoise sky could almost allude to an ocean, making the landscape feel like a tropical island. My close friend even said it looked like her home country, Guam.

Painting from life, is always a special way of creating art. Capturing the energy of the moment and getting to decide which parts to include or not include. By utilizing a limited pallet and limited brushes, I am forced to get creative in how each detail is portrayed.
